Essay of Harvard framework and 5 P modell in the context of HRM. Which concept is better? Introduction Today, Human Resource Management is an important part of our corporate structure. Many companies are intensively involved with their HRM department and try to optimize it. A company's resources in terms of employee skills, knowledge and motivation are defined as human resource management. HRM is often referred to as "Personalmanagment". The targeted use of employees, their commitment, planning and procurement are important components and tasks of HRM. Through social responsibility towards the employees, HRM achieves a productive and balanced corporate culture. The productivity of the employees is improved by a good personnel communication and personnel advancement. A precise assessment of employees' intellectual and personal resources is an additional area of responsibility in HRM. There are also various models of HRM. Two of them are the Harvard Framework model and the 5 p model. In the following these models will be discussed and their pros and cons will be compared. Main Part: The Harvad Model of HRM is interpreted as a model of strategic-oriented personnel management. A more self-determined task is assigned to personnel work in this model.
