Maia Arroyo-Roppo ENG 120- P Professor McCormack April 1 2008 Journalism Journalism is all around us in the world today and is a very important medium that helps keep the public informed. Journalism is the discipline of gathering, writing, and reporting information or more specifically news. It cal always include editing and present news. Certain mediums where journalism is shown are in magazines, newspapers, articles, on the radio, and the television. Journalism has several different elements which include but are not limited to: (1) a form of expression that is an invention; (2) reports of ideas and events; (3) comments on them; (4) the public circulation of them; and (5) the here and now. Journalism helps explain the “Who, What, When, Where, and Why (and sometimes How)” which was coined by Rudyard Kipling. Journalism comes can be executed in many different types like for example:

Online journalism is distributing facts that are produced and relayed on the internet.
