BSBMKG603 Manage the marketing process AIA-BSBMKG603-AI-V2019.1 Page | 2 Assessment Information The assessment tasks for BSBMKG603 Manage the marketing process are included in this Student Assessment Tasks booklet and outlined in the assessment plan below. To be assessed as competent for this unit, the student must complete all of the assessment tasks satisfactorily. Assessment Plan Assessment Task Overview 1. Written questions Students must correctly answer all questions. 2. Marketing performance review project Students must review company documentation, conduct research and develop a briefing report regarding marketing performance for discussion with the Marketing Director. Students must also develop plans in relation to the agreed marketing strategies and activities, as well as develop a communication strategy to ensure all parties involved in the marketing effort work together. 3. Manage marketing staff project Students must prepare for, and conduct a meeting with staff to communicate strategic marketing objectives and marketing activities to staff and agree on roles and responsibilities, as well as provide support to staff in the form of a short coaching session in relation to agreed marketing activities. Students must also develop a mentoring plan and conduct an initial mentoring session with a staff member to assist with the achievement of required objectives 4. Evaluate marketing performance project Students must evaluate marketing performance for a case study organisation and provide recommendations for improvement.
