After some discussion, I will review the key term “map key” and that this key allows them to see what symbols are represented on a map. Next, students will receive a map worksheet that we will complete as a class. I will be sure to cover the symbols in the key and determinewhere they are on the map. After, I will show my students how to make a map of the room on the whiteboard and will include a map key. Then students will receive a blank paper to create their own
