This initiative is driven by the recent Malaysian’s health concerns as the World Health Organization declared Malaysia as the most obese country in Asia. Being a global corporate, my team feels that we should take our Corporate Social Responsibility and address the issue. Our project will be focusing on changing the ingredient of our burgers and sides that come together as a meal set. We are hoping to make small changes that will matter in the long run and cause significant impact in the future. Malaysia offers great opportunity for our team to explore the untapped whole food market and the developing health consciousness of the vast consumers. Upon detailed research into the trend, we have also found out that there has been increasing demand for healthier meal options across the country, starting from the supermarkets. This project will run over the course of three year but the initial start up will be ready in 7 months after recruiting our specialized project team, creating the new Mc-healthy menu, training program for the staffs with a dietitian and developing our marketing strategies. We have capable and competent employees in our team that comes from all type of business backgrounds such as accounting, international trading, information system analysis, logistics & supply chain management, banking and finances and marketing. By taking advantage of the trend and boosting demand of healthy food, we aim to increase our marginal profit by 5% of the annual earnings and believe that our brand reputation will be positively enhanced in the long run. Our company’s vision is to become the customers’ favorite place to eat and drink and therefore, our team’s mission is to adapt to Malaysia ’s changing taste to achieve our corporate goal. 3
