Physical Environment Assignment
Music: Background music is generally easy on the ear and can enhance study productivity as
well as drown out distractions. Music is not an issue for me.
Background noise: It a slight distraction to me if it isn’t music so this is a issue for me.
Smells: Smells are not a factor towards my study environment
Lighting: Lighting is a factor towards my study environment because if it is too dark in my room
while I am studying I will get sleepy and not be focused.
Temperature and Humidity: It has to be a mixture of hot and cold so I may have a heater near
me while I am studying. So this is an issue towards my study environment
Facebook, email, smart phone: If I have my phone near me during my studying time I will be
constantly distracted by notifications and phone calls. This is an issue for my study environment
Comfort—Too little or too much: I think although comfort is something I need in order to be
motivated to do work I think unless I’m sitting at a desk and doing homework not a lot is going
