GUS 2071 Exam 1 Study Guide The exam will be entirely multiple choice questions.  Approximately 55 questions regard lecture  and book material, as well as about 10 questions on the map portion.   Map Portion – This link lists the 50 largest US cities:   http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0763098.html   I suggest  familiarizing yourself with their locations.  State capitals are also fair game.  There will be one on  the exam that is not a top 50 city. All fifty states are fair game.  Know their locations. Know the following physical features:  Mississippi River, Ohio River, Missouri River, Colorado  River, Columbia River, Appalachian Mountains, Rocky Mountains, Cascade Mountains, Sierra  Nevada Mountains, and the Great Lakes. Since this is multiple-choice, familiarizing yourself with relative locations might be easier than  trying to learn exact locations.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
