Joe Giannini September 17, 2007 Enterprise Borders Chapter 4 Inquiry 1. One of the most important tools associated with marketing is value. The job of marketing is to create and deliver value to customers. What this means is that they have to create a product and then convince the users that the product is worth certain monetary value. Marketing also deals with the organizational functions by creating a set of processes for creating, communicating, and delivering value. The decisions that marketing makes manage the direction of how the product will get out of theory and into public use. Marketing is split up into two specific types. Strategic marketing is the decisions made to achieve goals of the organization, meaning what type of service or product the producer wants to create. On the other hand there is marketing managers, which simply put is how the product is distributed, promoted, and priced for maximum effectiveness. 2.
