Self-determination is an importantconcept that refers to each person’s ability to make choices andmanage their own life, this ability plays an important role inpsychological health and well-being. Self-determination allowspeople to feel that they have control over their choices and lives. Italso has an impact on motivation, people feel more motivated to
take action when they feel that what they do will have an effect onthe outcome.
