Unformatted text preview: GERT 346 Brent Fiorito Reaction Paper 3/16/08 Reviewing the Holocaust Mini Series After watching the Holocaust mini series I searched for a review of the work on the Internet Movie Database, which led me to Epinions.com. This review by David Adams rated the mini series four out of five stars which I agree with and would maybe even have raised it to four and a half. The review basically praises Holocaust and the people involved with only minor complains. Although many of Adams’ points are accurate and supportable I differ with him on a few issues. Things such as his description of the work as “important” in contrast to good and it having a tedious pace along with lines that are as if out of a textbook. Adams’ long list of previous reviews leads me to trust his opinion but still keep my own, although the two are very close in praise but differ slightly with the criticisms. I believe that Holocaust is a very well done film and deserves attention from anyone interesting in the Holocaust or World War II for that...
