When you hear the name ‘Leonardo ('Da Vinci’² immediately your mind goes to the very famous painting² “Mona Lisa but not many know of all of his other works² aside from those classic paintings and portraits² nor do they know about all that he contributed to society³ ('Da Vinci was an imaginative and creative individual² whose work is continuously praised to this day for having contributed so much in terms of weaponry and technology³ One such contribution to weaponry² were his drawings of crossbows² crossbow machines² armored cars² machine guns² canons² and more³ “,In the area of military weapons² he sketched the parabolic path of projectiles² with suitable allowance for wind resistance³” ´Wallace µ¶·¸² ¹º»³ We can even attribute some modern technology to his drawings² that served as blueprints to water pumps² cars² helicopters² planes² and other useful forms of technology³ While today’s society can appreciate ('Da Vinci’s drawings for providing a sort of structure to our current technology² one remarkable thing to recognize is that he was well beyond advanced for his time he would often “fail” at executing his inventions because of the lack of general technological advancement³”%$A prolific inventor² da Vinci envisioned innovations that would not be technologically possible for centuries”´McNamara ·¶»³ This exhibit will showcase how Leonardo ('Da Vinci’s work has been so pivotal to providing the bare bones to so many new inventions² and how his drawings have been the bridge between the renaissance and today³ ,I chose Leonardo ('Da Vinci and the drawings of some of his inventions because² not only do ,I find them very fascinating² but he laid a lot of the foundation of the machines and weapons we use in this present¼day² and it is important to reflect on the beginning of an evolving industry³ &%Back then² and still² to this day² many people study his drawings and try to recreate or bring them to life³ Some have adapted his ideas and others have failed at their attempts² but it still stands that he has been one of the most
