Part 1 – Control Panel – 10 points The Control Panel is part of the Microsoft Windows graphical user interface which allows users to view and manipulate basic system settings and controls, such as adding hardware, adding and removing software, controlling user accounts, changing accessibility options, and so on. In this assignment you will look at some of the features of the Control Panel and answer questions. 1. Click on the Control Panel on the Start menu a. Double-click on Automatic Updates What are the settings in this window on your computer? Automatically update every day  at 3:00 pm It is important to have your computer setup to automatically download Windows updates. Close the Automatic Updates window b. Double-click on Display to show your display properties. Answer the following questions: Click on the Desktop tab. What is your background? Collage of Pictures It is in this window that you can Browse and select your own picture to place in the background. Click on the Settings tab.
