Oliver spends most of his day, with the exception of lunch and recess in Mrs. Pullmans classroom. According to the teacher, she has noticed that Oliver typically screams in the mornings. She noted that she has received emails from his mother saying he didn’t eat breakfast and then he will come in screaming.The screaming lasts anywhere from 5-10 seconds and graham crackers help calm him down Screaming occurred 12 times in the observation day. Out of the total of 12, every single incident Oliver was given access to an item and then stopped screaming.100% of the consequences of the behavior were giving Oliver something which made him stop screaming. A total of 80+ occurrences of screaming behavior occurred throughout the week. The screaming happened every day during “morning meeting”, art, and recess. Often occurring 3+times each period. It never happened during math, social studies, lunch, or dismissal. Teacher reported during these times, materials are right in front of Oliver, making them accessible.
