Protruding markings in the Chin, Process markings are prominence feature, located in the transverse process of vertebra, Spine markings are Sharp located in the Ischial spine, Tubercle markings have small, rounded pieces like in the tubercle of humerus, Tuberosity markings are often rough and in the Deltoid tuberosity, Line markings have Slightly, elongated ridges and are often found in the temporal lines of the parietal bones, Crest markings have a Ridge like in the Iliac crest, Hole markings are known for the holes and depressions they produce in places like the Foramen, Fossa’s have an Elongated basin inside the Mandibular fossa, Fovea Small are markings that are pit like found in the Fovea capitis on the head of the femur, Sulcus markings are Grooved Sigmoid sulcus found inside the temporal bones, Canal markings are a passage in bone found in the Auditory canal, Fissure markings have a Slit through bone located in the Auricular fissure, Foramen markings are a Hole through bone found in the Foramen magnum of the occipital bone, Meatus markings are an Opening into canal for the External auditory meatus, Sinus markings are Air-filled spaces in bone’s Nasal sinus
