Jacksonian style combined with wilsonian goals: Bush Administration Jacksonians as those who are not concened with spreading amrican values or  commercial interests Concerned about protecting American jobs at home for example Don’t see interests or values as extendable See world as Americans and foreigners Americans are primarible identifiable by place of birth and readiness to fight  for homeland Not internationalists, deeply distrust elitist Hamiltonians and Wilsonians Democratic opininon at home is valuable, and authenticity value. Don’t make particular demands on foreigners and foreigners better not  demand anything on Americans. Like a Hornets NestHave no trouble using violence  o Dropping atomic bombs on civilians justified Want to get back to homeland as fast as possible, no desire to rule world Don’t want US to be used for elitist purposes NON-GLOBAL A mistake not to respond immediately to threats, with MUCH FORCE Why America smpathetic to Jacksonian policy American Frontier, men had to take law into own hands  Indians slaughtered because didn’t think lke us
