Carl Crittenden Lit: MWF 2 “Tell the women we’re going” questions 1. Jerry’s values are his friendship with Bill, his wife, and his kids. Bill’s values are his friendship with Jerry, education, sex, and his wife. Clearly, they both value each other because they have been friends for such a long time. They also both value their family. However, I think Bill values his life and Jerry doesn’t. Bill finished school and waited a little while before he got married. Jerry, on the other hand, rushed into his marriage and having kids, and then he ends up killing the two girls. The author writes that “Bill looked at Jerry and though how much older Jerry looked,” which shows how Jerry doesn’t appreciate his life and just wants to get through it. 2. Jerry is your average male who doesn’t finish college and rushes into a marriage. He and his family manage with the necessary things they need, but don’t have any luxuries. It also seems like Jerry is a little depressed because he rushed through
