Carl Crittenden March 27, 2007 FWS MW 11 Response to Nidia Fevry I agree that there is prevailing racism around BC’s campus. However, I believe for it to disappear there needs to be a group effort by people with all different skin colors. The article mentions that there is racism throughout the student body, excluding the AHANA and a few white supporters of AHANA. In my experience, I have found that to not be true. Currently, I am living with an AHANA student. I will admit that when I first opened my roommate assignment on Agora, over the summer, I was a little shocked that I got paired with him. After much thinking, I figured it would all work out and I would actually learn a lot from him. Plus, he was from the Bronx so we would have a little Yankees-Red Sox rivalry in the room. We communicated a lot over the summer and it seemed like we would become very friends. Unfortunately, we did not become very close. He moved in two days after me and I thought he would like to meet people that I had already met. That turned out not to
