Carpenter, 1 Megan Carpenter 11 February 2008 Sr. Shelia Theology 212 THE112: Francis: Path to Joy; Test One 1. If I had to take St. Francis out to lunch, I would take him to a local coffee shop. Since he is the saint of sacrifice there will be no need for any exquisite restaurants or elaborate meals racking up an unheard of bill. Just a nice soothing place for him and myself to meet and talk to over my thoughts about his life with no interruptions in a calm and relaxing environment. Music, fresh coffee grindings in the air, the quiet whisper of other conversations will fill the cafe while I enjoy a nice hot cup of tea, and I am almost positive Francis would just like some water to benefit from that afternoon chat in question. I will most certainly bring my open mind, and willing fullness to listen to a man that has sacrificed the majority of his life to his faith. I would like just to hear his stories, nothing really in specific, no general questions, just listening which many have trouble
