Dear Sir, We, the members, would like to thank you for giving us this opportunity to work together on the organization structure of two companies. This assigned task gave us the privilege to explore the current structure of the companies; how they work and in what ways do they run their management activities. Once done with our analyzing of companies we accomplished the assignment of mechanistic organizational structure. All our group members gave their best effort for the assignment and hence any sort of flaws may arise as we are still a learner in writing this report. Almost all the instructions given in class have been followed by us. Concepts and theories that we have learnt in our course have been applied. Provided content in the report is all done on our own, however, some references have been taken. Executive summary: The report focuses on discussing about two mechanistic organizations. One is Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), founded in 1993; Independent University, Bangladesh is one of the oldest private universities in Bangladesh where academic excellence is a tradition, teaching a passion and lifelong learning, a habit. Another is “Sonali Bank” established in 1972 under the Bangladesh Banks (Nationalization) Order, through the amalgamation and nationalization of the branches of National Bank of Pakistan, Bank of Bahawalpur and Premier Bank branches located in East Pakistan until the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War.
