Deziree Nicole Perez Professor Jamey Crane GOVT 2306 30 June 2019 In the Case of Capital Punishment The PBS documentary “Death by Fire” showed a case of injustice involving a man being blamed for the murder of his daughters. Cameron Todd Willingham was not someone whom I’ve ever heard of before, but his story is now one that I will never forget. Before watching the PBS documentary, I already believed that placing people to death in our justice system was not a good route to go by. Now I strongly believe that whether someone is innocent or guilty in any case, capital punishment should not even be an option in our justice system. Whether someone has committed a small or big crime, I personally believe that capital punishment is not the way to go. I was raised to believe that whatever you do in life will come back to you tenfold. So, if someone does something that is wrong for, even if they know it or not, something intern will happen to them.
