Nurse Practitioners need to develop and build a good rapport with their patients, as you indicated in your post. Starting with an excellent introduction and exploring how the patient wants to be addressed helps by building a good relationship and also helps set the tone of the interview and helps the patient understand their role, yet feel comfortable, so they communicate comfortably and honestly. Making patients feel comfortable physically and emotionally without being judged is highly significant (Ball et al., 2017) . It is also essential to consider factors such as age, gender, functional abilities, culture , and environment due to the significant impact they can have on a patient's wellbeing as well (Srivastava, 2016) . I would ask the 55-year-old Asian female her chief concern, history of present illness, past medical history, family history, personal and social history, and review of systems. I would
