Technical Communication is User Centered - A technical document rarely focuses on the writer’s personal thoughts and feelings. B. Technical Communication is Efficient - An efficient technical document is carefully designed to include worthwhile content, sensible organization, readable style, effective visuals, accessible design and supplements. C. Technical Communication Comes in All Shapes and Sizes Letters – They are not only the most “personal” form of technical communication, but they also provide written records and often serve as contracts. Memos – Most organizations use memos (and their email versions) as the primary vehicle for their internal written communication. Memos are usually brief and follow a format that includes a header and one or two pages of body
