Describe the major types of buying situations.In the marketing world there are different types of buying situations. The three major types are straight rebuy, modified rebuy and new task. These buying situations are different waysof how business can purchase their products needed to run their business.Straight rebuy is the simplest of the buying situations. Little thought goes into these purchases. A straight rebuy is simply purchasing a product that is needed and it is something that is used commonly by the business. An example of this is copy paper, the business already has a known supplier for this copy paper and they purchase the paper from that supplier without even thinking about the purchase or researching other brands.
