Thang NguyenPhilosophy 102 BProfessor LopezSeptember 12th, 2011Week 3 Journal: Test Sentences – God ApprovalIn order to pass the test sentences, the first stage in the metaethical procedure, a theory must have both the principle of non-contradiction and the absolute truth. Putting the God approval theory into testing, the God approval theory fails the first step of the test sentences. The word “God” is very ambiguous. When “God” is discussed, what God exactly is put in context? If God is a creation that each individual has, there is no real true answer to whether an action is right or wrong. This also goes for different religions with different beliefs. One may say that his/her God approves of an action, but it does not mean that the other person’s God may approve the same thing. The value of an action may be wrong according to one god, but to another, that same action is right. In other words, multiple Gods contradict one another on the same action,
