Additional, positive press was garnered by DIA, which was named the nation’s best airport for the sixth-consecutive year by Business Traveler magazine, and was cited for the 29% drop in round-trip fares during the past decade—the fourth-largest drop of any city in the country. Leisure Tourism Denver was one of just a few destinations in the United States to see an increase in the number of leisure visitors in 2009, according to Longwoods International.
