Kristin Gumbert MUS 010 040 11/19/07 Informance on November 13, 2007 On Tuesday November 13, 2007, the Kutztown University Concert Band played an Informance. It started at eleven in the morning and lasted about fifty minutes and was in the Schaeffer Auditorium. There were about sixty or so people in the audience. I really didn’t have any expectations because I have never been to a concert like this before. Since the Informance was during the day on a Tuesday, many of the musicians unfortunately couldn’t make it. So, if everyone was there it would have sounded much different; the conductor stated that during the concert. The first piece that we heard was called Concerto for 2 Trumpets, Strings, and Continuo which was composed by Antonio Vivaldi. There are three movements in this piece the first and third one are fast and, the second one is slow. The trumpets used were piccolo Trumpets instead of the regular because they give a different sound. The second movement was very short and
