Assignment 7 Abstract There is a lot to say when it comes to life after prison for ex-convicts. There are many challenges that are faced with a lack of support and a lack of mental assistance when it comes to reentry into society. Despite rehabilitation that some inmates may have, there are still risks that are to be considered, employment, family life, mental disorders, etc. Further we will discuss what these risks are and the problems that are dealt with when it comes to reentry. There are of course things now put into place to assist in the aid of transformation to society post prison life that will also be discussed.
Assignment 7 There are risks that can take place when it comes to the inmate’s reentry into society. For example, since the inmate likely did not receive proper treatment there is a risk for possible homelessness in a failed attempt to adapt to society.
