Cassie Morgan UN Reform The United Nations definitely needs reform. This many people can agree on. What some tend not to agree on is what kind of reform the UN needs and how to proceed with the reform. I believe that the United Nations is a great organization of governments coming together to promote stability and peace within the world. But, like many other organizations, they need a nice tune-up. The United Nations is definitely in need of a reform, but the hard part is deciding where they need the help and how to fix what is going wrong. Some people would say that the UN is just simply useless and that it should just be demolished all together. This just simply would not work. Although many do not like the United Nations, it actually has had some pretty amazing success stories throughout its existence. One program that the United Nations created, the Millennium Development Goals, is a great idea to help decrease such things as illiteracy, poverty, disease, and increase women empowerment.
