“The most popular answer cites our fear of God and our desire for a happy afterlife.”
(Landau, 2012, p. 62). The people who are religious are bounded by the certain rules that shapes
the morality. But it is also not right to torture people who disobey the rules of their particular
religion and such kind of motivation creates a problem. “Some of the leaders of the Inquisition
were very conscientious. Their conscience led them to torture their victims in an intensely cruel
way.” (Landau, 2012, p. 62). The people who are atheists and agnostics are also living their life
happily without those religious morals and they are not giving any harm to the society. “I do not
share the view of Nietzsche, Sartre, and some Christian Evangelicals that if God did not exist,
then everything would be permitted. Nor do I believe that, as a matter of empirical fact, if
religion were to disappear, morality would collapse.” (Wainwright, 2012). I totally accept my
