This will be due at the end of our first week:Sunday, August 30thby midnight.Quizzes:6 Quizzes (40 points each = 240 points total)
There will be a total of 6 quizzes throughout the semester. Quizzes will be due everyweek by the end of Sunday (11:59pm). They will be a combination of multiple choice,true/false, fill in the blank, short answer, and essay questions.Your quizzes will be on Blackboard, available on Mondays, and due by Sundays. Youwill have the whole week to work on it. It won’t be timed, and you won’t have tocomplete it all in one shot. You will need to make sure you are saving your answers asyou go! If your work is lost, you will have to redo it so please make sure you’re backingup your work. Do not wait until the last minute in case you have any technologicaldifficulties or computer/internet problems.I am not using the Blackboard programs that hack your webcam/microphone, lock downyour browser windows, etc. You will be free to use your textbook, course notes, lecturevideos, recordings of class meetings, PowerPoints, etc. to help you with the quizzes.However, you won’t get credit if you copy directly from any of these sources, you need toanswer everything in your OWN words (always).Please note thatI do not accept late quizzes or allow make-ups!This class movesmuch too fast and you will need to keep up. I cannot allow extensions or exceptions dueto our accelerated pace so please make sure you are able to keep up with theseassignments each week.Final Exam or Final Paper:(140 points)I am going to give you an option for your Final Assessment. You’ll have options on howyou want to demonstrate all you learn over our semester! You will either be taking a FinalExam or writing a Final Paper.The Final Exam will be available on Blackboard during our last week of class, and willbe due by Sunday, October 18thby midnight.
