Article One For the first article, I chose the article about jet blue releasing the data of its passengers to the government. Two lawyers who representing the passengers brought suit the airlines, jet blue on the other hand is playing the innocent card claiming that they were just complying with the probe that was going on and was unaware of what the data was being used for. What we can learn from this article, is that a corporation has a responsibility to its customers to protect any data that it might collect and its not there right to sell it off to other organizations or to the government simply because it was asked. I chose the article because of the issue at hand, as more airlines provide internet access this will become more of an issue as the airlines will intercept a lot of private data going through it’s servers. This poses many ethical questions that rarely have a middle ground and will often result in total privacy or total access to the information.
