remove the HCl and use it either to produce hydrochloric acid or to use as a low
concentration hydrochloric acid stream somewhere else in your operation.
(e) The most likely reason is cost; the technical grade is cheaper than the ultrapure grade.
Using the ultrapure grade might be necessary if the purity specifications for the
monochlorobenzene were very high. We might also use the ultrapure grade if the
