Andrew Diegel Wasserstein Freshman Comp . 26 March 2008 “Priceless” The advertisement I have chosen is attempting to influence anybody able to obtain a credit card to carry out their goal of learning to play the guitar, and it does this by expressing that the things that really count in life cannot be bought . Everybody is familiar with the “priceless” Mastercard advertisements that end in “There are some things money can’t buy . For everything else, there’s Mastercard” . Mastercard has taken in the thought that not everything they use in their advertisements apply to everyone, and therefore they’ve made over a hundred different advertisements with the same theme, hoping the items they use in them apply to everyone, also known as a fishing ad . This advertisement is being used in a newspaper . It has a black background with six circles with images in them . The first image is an acoustic guitar, and the second is a picture of a guitar pick . The next four circles have pictures of band aids in them . Under all of the circles of images, there is a bracket connecting all of them
