Final Exam Review (chapter 9-13) 1. Chapter4 pg45 (give good reading strategies) Make sure you have all the assigned print materials, in either paper copy or electronic version. Set aside time to read wen you are alert. Decide whether you need the material before or after the lecture. Choose what you are going to read and how long and make a deliberate intention to learn. Find a place that supports your concentration with minimal distractions. Preview the material to be read to help access your memory. Read to understand the material; then mark the primary points or take notes on them. Practice rehearsing and explaining what you understand. Reread sections that are confusing or ask for help. Set aside time in your schedule to review your reading material for each class. 2. Chapter8 pg189&210 (know the official definitions) Motivation- those thoughts and feelings that initiate, direct, and sustain action.
