1Rob Cummings Journal 7 2/26/07 After reading the article “Students with Disabilities” I feel that more actions need to be taken to make college more accessible for students that have disabilities. The article states that about nine percent of the student population has a disability, which means that more and more disabled students are attending higher education and would need to have the same advantages as people who are not disabled. Campuses need to make the proper adjustments to make sure that everyone is on the same level. The article “Mi Casa Is Not Exactly Like Your House” gave me a better understanding of the struggles that Latino students are faced with. I feel that it is the schools responsibility to make the transition for Latino students easier. The article stated that Latinos have the lowest completion rate of all college students, which I would lead me to believe that actions from a higher authority need to be taken to make things the same for everyone. The article “Does Meritocracy Work” proved to me that students that come from a
