Loose Change In the Loose Change films, specifically, the first edition from 2004 and the final cut released in 2007, Dylan Avery presents numerous theories about the “true” events and the “real” people behind 9/11. Generally speaking, the overall characteristics of Avery’s arguments are grounded in the disbelief in the official explanations of the 9/11 attacks. For example, Avery counters the notion that the collapse of the Twin Towers and the World Trade Centre 7 was caused by fires, as no building in history has collapsed because of an internal fire. Moreover, Avery argues that the official story regarding a plane crashing into the Pentagon is wrong because the physical evidence present at the crash site is inconsistent with the explanations given. Similarly, Avery is highly critical of the official narrative that a plane crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, as there was no trace or remains of a plane at the crash site apart from debris no larger than a phone book.
