Part 2: The CommentaryThis timeline represents the choices I made that led me to my career field, and then furthermore what I am doing currently to advance my career. Biological adaptation, according to our learning assignment, is the idea that human behavior is based on biological factors, such as that women are created to have babies. Social expectations are the set of behaviors expected of people based on their status (SS /260 Gender and Society Learning assignment). I feel that socialexpectations had an impact on the way my educational and career track went, as I only went to college and got a summer job as that is what is expected of someone who just graduated high school. Otherwise, I probably would have never enrolled in college right out of high school. Biological adaptation would only have a role if I truly believe that women are biologically made to be caregivers, but I have met just as many men as women in my field of work.
