Harding argues that the movement takes place within the fundamentalist’s rhetoric and the stories they tell; it does not have as much to do with doctrine. Harding focuses on the sermons and stories of Falwell and other preachers because the language they use brings together their literal, traditional Bible interpretations with a message of involvement.
