Zach Garcia Honor 111 Aristotle What does this all mean? We have talked all year about the different translations and how different ones can give different interpretations and different feelings about the same piece of writing. This really became evident for me this week. I had a fairly hard time understanding a lot of what Aristotle was trying to say. Then when it was explained to me in class what small parts of it meant more of it became clear and understandable. But in this weeks lecture some things that were said were somewhat contradictory to what was said in class. One thing that stood out to me was the role of the polis and Aristotle’s attitude towards it. I did a little bit of research on Aristotle and I could not be sure if it was right seeing as how much wrong interpretations are out there but what it said was interesting. In class we talked about how Aristotle was playing up to the politicians, but at the same time even if Aristotle said something that does not mean that he
