What do you understand on the concept of cyberspace and its relation with cyber law?
= A non-physical place where electronic communication and digital data is located. A
situation in which some activity takes place entirely within an intangible computer system, or
a network of such systems. Eg: cloud- storing data in a non-physical place . Advantages:

What are the main issues of the internet? Elaborate your answers with appropriate
examples and solutions.
Such problems are:
1. Identity/anonymous
2. Attribution
3. Authentication
4. Non-repudiation
5. Jurisdiction
-Problem
with
identity/anonymity-
anyone
can
pretend
to
be
anything
online,
can
lead
to
fraud problems and social issues like online grooming
-Problems with attribution- attribution is the process of tracking and laying blame on a
cybercrime perpetrator. It is difficult, because while a crime can be traced to a certain user, it is
difficult to prove that it was the owner of the account that did the crime
-Problems with authentication- applies to electronic records and e-contracts. There exists a
difficulty to authenticate legal documents online as compared to in the real world.

-Problems with non-repudiation- online sales are not done face-to-face, so it is difficult to send
back a faulty item to get a refund “no takebacks”.
-Problems with jurisdiction- there are no national borders in cyberspace, so crimes can be
