The Importance of Literacy“Reading is an exercise for the mind. It helps kids calm down and relax, opening doors of new knowledge to enlighten their minds. Kids who read, grow up to have better cognitive skills” (n.a., 2018). Growing up, what did you want to become? Literacy helps to develop a child’s imagination, however, at the same time enhancing aspects of one's personality. Can you imagine life without reading? I believe that human life does depend on it. As we grow into adulthood, literacy has had a huge amount of shaping who we have become. Reading is beneficial not just adults, but children as well, for them it is vital. For Literacy opens doors to endless knowledge.
