Clinton Plaza Due: 30Jan2007 ECE 3042-L08 Brewer/Rodgers WA1 Required Homework The audiences for this application note are the users of Agilent power supplies, and even any power supply user, as most hints can be used on non-Agilent products as well. While the level of the expertise of the audience varies, it is written so an average user of the power supplies can understand. This affects the writing in the note in that all of the instructions are laid out in a simplified manner, but uses acronyms that a beginner may not know (DUT, DVM, ATE, etc.).The application note is well written, and organized into ten sections. Each section covers a hint for using a power supply to decrease test time. The sections seem to be organized from hints that will save the most time, to hints that will save only a few seconds. Had I been the technical writer and editor, I may have considered organizing the sections by ease of implementation. This would have entailed moving sections like number nine (Use List Mode and Backplane
