Provide an example of how your selected statistical test could be used in a nursing research study. A common statistical test used in nursing research is the t-test. The t-test was developed by William S. Gosset with the help for two mathematicians according to Jankowski et al. (2018). The t-test is one of the most frequent used statistical test in research (Jankowski et al., 2018). Polit and Beck (2018) wrote that the t-test is used to find the difference between two comparison groups. In other words, the t-test is used to compare two samples on the same measurement (Jankowski et al., 2018). The level of measurement for the t-test is a nominal measurement.
