EES3000L Sweetwater Branch Evaluation Asmaa Ghonim Sect: 3678 Field Questions David “Nick” Reynaud Andy Wilson Site Description: This property is located above Payne’s Prairie, it’s a commercial place and Wiliston road  is surrounding the area that isn’t surrounded by Payne’s Prairie.  It was last priced at 7,704,000  dollars. The area has about four to seven communities of good quality and has pineland,  brushland, hardwood swamp, and a hardwood hammock. This is a 115 acre site. Water flows  through it to Payne’s Prairie and into Alachua sink, Alachua’s main water resource. The area  has subdivisions surrounding it and may cause pollution from the water flow to the sink. Water Resource: Sweetwater Branch has a canal running through it that functions as direct unfiltered flow  into Payne’s Prairie and the Alachua Sink. This piece of land has rated very high on the  contamination of water because of this canal and how important the Alachua Sink is to its  residents. The Sweetwater Branch is a great source of aquifer recharge and might have some
