1. What scenes do you think you’ll still remember a month from now and why those scenes? Did any scenes surprise you? I think the scenes I will most remember in a month are the scenes where they show the kid’s faces who are getting discriminated against, they look so sad and hurt, and frankly, it’s just depressing. 2. How did the negative and positive labels placed on a group become true? The kids started to believe the labels and gave into them if they were both negative or positive. If they were on the positive side of it, they acted all superior and gave into their spotlight but if they were on the negative side, the ones getting discriminated against, they felt sad, they looked sad, and they went about their day as if they didn’t matter. 3. We hear that name-calling is never supposed to hurt you. Why did the calling of “Brown Eye” hurt so bad? Because it was the name that they were getting discriminated against, it was something the others were pinpointing about them and making them feel low about themselves just because they had brown eyes.
