Progression Progression has always been a key part to the English curriculum . As a student, I am expected to improve my reading and writing skills with each paper I write . Reading through my work so far this semester, I was disappointed to see my writing appeared to be getting worse . Compared to my first few journals, which were clear, to the point, and full of new knowledge, my more recent journals, and essay number two, appeared to weakly written and lacking new knowledge . However, upon closer revision, I realized that this demonstrates my progression in struggling to become an experienced academic writer . My writing is gradually progressing throughout the semester . As the class progressed, it began to seem as though papers got harder and harder and I began doing worse and worse . I had gotten such good feedback on the in-class essay and then all of a sudden my papers weren’t really making sense . It’s hard to say whether it was the reading that was getting more challenging or the writing .

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
