Nick King English 1000 Hilda Downer October 4, 2007 My Grandmother I love to think about my grandmother. It always seems to bring a certain warmth to my heart. As a kid growing up my favorite person was always my grandmother, mainly because when I would stay with her she would buy me whatever I wanted. But, as I grew up I came to realize that her love for me stretched a lot farther than just material things. There is nothing like a grandmother’s love, or at least my grandmother’s. Growing up my parents seemed to get mad at me for a lot of things, but I can’t think of a single time that my grandmother was ever angry or upset with me over anything. My grandmother just seemed to understand me no matter what. My grandmother always told me that I could tell her anything, and often, when things got rough in my life I found myself confiding in her. me, like most of the adults I knew, she could always find a way to accept me the way I am. My grandmother was never a healthy person.
