STATISTIC REPORT2Statistical Analysis A study on the modeling effect of introduction of various expansion criteria on the amount of sales in the Pastas R Us restaurants was done by following strict analysis tools and using the data provided. The study involved 74 restaurants which are the branches of the Pastas R Us restaurants. A total of eight variables which included the area in square feet, average sales per customer, year-on-year sales growth, sales per square feet., loyalty card usage as a percentageof sales, median income per square feet and median age per square feet. All of the variables were modeled using a linear regression using excel software and the dependent variable was the sales per square feet (Lunt, 2015). Scatter plots were used in the research study to represent the residuals visually (Chambers, 2017).
