Anthony Brown English 1000 Hilda Downer January 15, 2008 My Grandfather I love to think about my grandfather. It always seems to bring certain warmth to my heart. As a kid growing up my favorite person was always my grandpa, mainly because when I would stay with him and he would buy me whatever I wanted. But, as I grew up I came to realize that his love for me stretched a lot farther than just material things. There is nothing like a grandfather’s love, or at least mine. Growing up my parents seemed to get mad at me for a lot of things, but I can’t think of a single time that my grandpa was ever angry or upset with me over anything. He just seemed to understand me no matter what. Papa always told me that I could tell him anything, and often, when things got rough in my life I found myself confiding in him.
