6-2 Short Paper2Miss communication can happen and does happen more often than you think. I am guilty of this as I am sure several other people are as well. A perfect example of this is text or e-mails that are send and received. We read the e-mail or text, misunderstand what is being said, or skip parts that we deem not to be important to us. We later find out what was said was not what we thought and that the information that we skip was something we needed to know. This happens all the time, whether we want it to or not. In the corporate world, this can cause significant problems. Let’s discuss internal communication barriers. There are several different internal barrierswith communication like fatigue, poor listening skills, attitude toward the sender or the information, lack of interest in the message, fear, mistrust, past experiences, negative attitude, problems at home, lack of common experiences, and emotions (relivingmbadays, 2012).
